O Canada



Dinner is set for my friends and family to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!

This platter has been in my parents’ home for as long as I can remember. My Mum graciously lent it to me for this post.

Dinner plates Christopher Stuart – Batalha White. I used the salad plates on my Bee Table.

Dinner plate used as a charger from TJMaxx – CIROA. When they were at the store for four weeks I decided it was a sign I should take them home.

Behind the table is draped my quilt “Dual Citizenship”. For although I was born in Canada my home is in the America.

Dessert is set up on the sideboard for after the meal.. In our family EAT-MORE with its dark toffee peanut butter bars is always a favorite choice. There is also red velvet cupcakes and coffee.

    I remember that fabric well -- I worked in a quilt shop in the nineties and used to quilt quite a bit. So many hobbies, so little time!
